Sawtooth has been the leader of the caulking industry since 2000. Our crews provide the highest quality of caulking finished aesthetics in the most efficient manner. We provide the best results the first time, and are committed to maintaining and replacing caulk that has worn through it natural life cycle.

What is Caulking

Caulking is an adhesive paste finish that is used to seal the gaps between two elements of construction to eliminate air, water, and pest flow as well as the damages that result from such intrusions. It can be used on exterior elements such as windows and doors, or interior elements including sinks, bathtubs, showers, and fixtures. Caulking has a natural lifespan before the strength of the material starts to lapse and the cracks become susceptible to damage. Sawtooth is aware of this cycle. That is why we offer maintenance or re-caulking on old seals before that damage occurs. Below are manufacturers who have certified sawtooth as appliers of their linked products.

Tilt Wall pannels

The joints on a tilt wall building are caulked to prevent water penetration and keep the inside of the building dry and the integrity of the building strong.

Sidewalks

Stopping weeds and grass from growing between cracks and expansion joints is an important goal of caulking. Not only are weeds and grass ugly, they can cause damage to the concrete as their roots dig into the pores of the concrete and cause it to deteriorate.

Floors

Joint sealants are an important part of protecting joints in concrete floors. Whether the joint is saw-induced (saw-cut) or a formed construction joint (armoured joint), filling the gap with a sealant helps to support the joint and prevent arris damage.
